The Will of WILLIAM FYSK of Rendham [Suffolk] the Elder,
dated 16 July 1472.

To be buried in the churchyard of St. Michaels, Rendham. To "frer" [i.e., Friar] John Lacy of the Friars Minors of Dunwich [Suffolk] and the other friars there, for a trental of St. Gregory, 30s. To William, Robt., and Thomas, sons of John Fysk, my son, 4s., viz., to each 13s. 4d. To Richard, son of Walter Fysk of Pesenhale [Peasenhall, Suffolk], 13s. 4d. My wife Margaret is to have maintenance for life in my messuage in Rendham with John Fysk, my son, at his charge, or, if she prefers, 40s. a year from him. To my son John my tenement called Pysales and lands in Badyngham [Badingham, Suffolk] held at farm. Residue of my estate for pious works. Executor: my son John. [No witnesses.]
