Parish and other records Parish Records Under Thomas Cromwell's Injunctions of 1538, records of baptisms, marriages and burials were kept in Parish Registers by clergy of the Church of England.. The earliest registers were generally paper books and few originals now survive. I have recorded those entries that relate to the Fisk(e) family, as published in Fiske Family Papers; those compiled by Brian Fisk and published on his web site, and sundry other published and internet sources. If anyone is able to add any, please get in touch. Parish record index
