One Response to Table 1: The earliest Laxfield ffyskes

  1. Lynda Leeds says:

My ancestor was Nathanial Fiske of Watertown, s/o of Nathan Fisk and Susanna Browne. I have a couple of conflicts with the family’s ancestry.

Some say Nathan was s/o Geoffrey Fiske and Mary (Sarah) Cooke. Others say he was s/o Robert Fiske m Sybilla Gold.

Some say Robert Fiske m Sybilla Gold is s/o Simon Fiske and others that he is s/o Richard Fiske.

I have not researched these lines, so much is already written and I don’t have access or opportunity to do research myself on this family. Do you by any chance know the resolution to these conflicts and do you have sources?

I would appreciate hearing anything you have to add. Thanks.
