In the vast majority of cases I have not been able to check the original documents and have made use of transcriptions by others of various parish and other records; the IGI and VRI from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the national censuses of 1841-1901, and various other reference works. I have also incorporated the many family records sent in to me by fellow researchers both in this country and abroad.

This is an index to other sources rather than a definitive work, I am aware that it will very probably contain errors, duplications and omissions. Please inform me of any you find. I have
avoided including individuals born after about 1905, with the exception of those I know to be no longer alive. Some of the pages are rather large and may take a little while to load.
