7 - THOMAS - of Studhaugh, born about 1467, married Annes or Agnes about 1486. In a charter dated September 8th, 1500 he was granted land in Laxfield, along with his uncle John (4). He was mentioned in the lay subsidy of Laxfield in 1524-5. His will dated Oct 27, 1525, refers to sons William, Thomas and Henry, daughter Agnes and brother Simon, also mentions lands he owned in Fressingfield. Appoints his sons Henry and Thomas executors, witnesses included his brother Simon and Sir John Fyske, priest. He died in Dec 1525. Back.

22 - WILLIAM - of Studhaugh. Born about 1500, married Margaret Ball. His will dated Oct 15, 1558 mentions wife Margaret, son John, son Rauf (Ralph), daughters Alice Meriam, Jane and Margaret. Executors were wife and brother-in-law Robert Ball and Roger Wade of Bermondysh. He died in 1559, resided at Studhaugh.
23 - THOMAS - Born about 1504. He was mentioned as a churchwarden at Stradbroke, Suffolk in 1547 and held lands in Stradbroke and Hoxne. His will is dated Jan 20, 1559, it mentione married daughters Christian and Margaret and was proved the following May by his four unmarried daughters Alice, Margery, Dorothy & Joan, he resided at Stradbroke.
24 - HENRY - Born about 1506, married Alice Dallyng. His will dated Aug 19, 1558 bequeaths all his lands in Fressingfield, called Gooches, to his son William. Mentions son Thomas and his daughter Mary, son Jeffrey, godson Francis ffyske. Executors were brother Thomas ffyske of Stradbroke and son William. Died in August 1558; he resided and was buried at Cratfield, Suffolk. Alice had died in 1553 and was also buried at Cratfield. Continuation
25 - AGNES (ANNES) - Born about 1502, was mentioned as being unmarried in her father's will.

44 - MATTHEW - of Studhaugh, yeoman. Born about 1540, married Elizabeth Jordain, daughter of William Jordain. After her death on Jan 6, 1592 he married Margaret Hayward the following year. She died on Sept 13, 1611 and he married for a third time on Jan 30, 1611 to Anne Huggune. His will was dated June 11, 1627 and mentions his wife Anne, son Nicholas, son John and his son John, and his daughter Elizabeth the wife of Edmond Stannard. He was buried at Laxfield in 1628.
45 - JOHN - of Laxfield. Born about 1540, married Joan Couper daughter of William Couper. In October 1566 he brought proceedings in Chancery against his brother Matthew, concerning ownership of properties called Glemes and Harsfeld in Laxfield. He was mentioned in a muster roll of 1593.
46 - RALPH (RAUFF) - Born about 1525. His attempt to contest his father's will, on the grounds that he was not of sound mind when he made it, was overthrown by the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 30 October, 1560. The case was between him and his mother Margaret, widow and executor of the will. He died without issue at Laxfield in January 1565.
47 - ALICE - Born about 1532, married ? Merriam. She was mentioned in her father's will in 1558.
48 - MARGARET - Born about 1538, mentioned in her father's will in 1558.
49 - JANE - Born about 1536, married Thomas Newson at Laxfield in September 1579.
50 - FAITH - Born about 1542, mentioned in her father's will in 1558, aged under eighteen at the time. Married Robert Aldous.
51 - KATHERINE - Born about 1544, mentioned in her father's will in 1558, aged under eighteen at the time.
52 - FRANCIS - mentioned in Fiske Family Papers but no other references found.

81 - NICHOLAS - Baptized
at Framlingham on July 31, 1575, married Judith Reade, daughter
of William Reade of Colchester, Essex, parson of Trinity Church
and of St. Martin's Lane. In 1633, while a professor of physic,
he was granted the right to use the Fiske coat of arms by the
Heralds' College. He was a contemporary and friend of Samuel
Butler, author of the mock-heroic poem Hudibras. He was buried at St Pauls, Covent Garden in 1658.
